Faris is a member of the Advanced Nuclear Production and Experts Group at the Department of Nuclear Science & Engineering at MIT, where he works with industry partners and national labs to advance both the technical and policy frameworks for the advanced nuclear industry. He also works with early-stage and growth equity venture capital funds, evaluating nuclear-related deal flow and helping emerging funds define fusion-focused investment theses. On top of that, he is a co-founder of Irradia Solutions, an MIT spin-out that is working on delivering low-cost, highly scalable materials and fuels testing and qualification environments for the fusion and fission industries.
