Sally is the Fusion Safety Advisor at the UK Atomic Energy Authority, where she leads a small team providing technical expertise in fusion safety, security and environment. Together their work supports the development of a regulatory framework for future fusion power plants. Sally's role on the world stage sees her participating in international working groups on fusion safety and regulation, and contributing to International Atomic Energy Agency documents. Before working in fusion, she spent 20 years in the nuclear industry developing safety cases and safety management processes.
