After starting her career as a Mechanical Engineer in the automotive and fuel cell industry, Joanne has spent a rewarding career furthering research and technology development in the Canadian and global nuclear industry. When an opportunity came up to move to the UK for a client’s fusion technology demonstration project, she jumped at the chance to be part of this exciting industry in one of its most innovative regions of the globe. Joanne sees an array of opportunities for people of diverse skill sets and backgrounds to contribute to bringing accessible, affordable, green energy to all areas of the world, and is passionate about helping people find their place in the fusion industry.
