Rosie is an experimental physicist at First Light Fusion where she focuses on data analysis and neutronics simulations. She has a degree in physics from the University of Oxford, an MSc in fusion energy from the University of York and has worked at First Light for 3.5 years. Rosie’s career so far has seen her running inertial fusion experiments, building new and complex fusion targets, designing shielding for fusion facilities and much more. Rosie co-founded and leads the inclusion committee at First Light Fusion which aims to build a supportive and inclusive scientific community for all. She also helped to found the company's outreach programme which provides talks, tours and hands-on activities to local school children and university students.
