Helen works in the advanced engineering simulation group, delivering software that simulates fusion power plant components under operational conditions. Her current research interests include multi-physics modelling, developing automated design workflows, and performance portability. She has an MSc in natural sciences from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in high-energy physics from Durham University.
